First OB Appointment!

FINALLY, yesterday was our FIRST OB appointment, and thankfully, we both absolutely loved her! She has a great personality, a good sense of humor, and is right in line with our thinking as far as all the moral issues that go along with babies and childbirth. She is Catholic, and we even talked about labor pain and spiritual ways to work through it (although, she's not above an epidural, either, so we're still friends!). I am SO thankful to have found her, and I know it will be a lot easier working with someone who we relate so closely to - both in beliefs and personality! Dennis even said, “Maybe you guys could be friends?” But, there’s something a little weird about hanging out with your gynecologist, no?! She tried to hear the baby’s heartbeat, but suspected she might not be able to. SO… we lucked out, and she scheduled an ultrasound for MONDAY! Even though a part of us was a little scared after not hearing the heartbeat right away, she assured us that there’s nothing to worry about and it’s quite normal. This means we'll get pictures, so I'm not complaining too much! What a fun Valentine's present, too, eh!? Details to come!!!
