Terrible Bedside Manner!

So today was our "prenatal counseling" appointment with my soon-to-be-ex doctor's nurse. If there's one thing friends have been telling me, its to find a doctor that you're comfortable with, and besides being a bit leary about this doctor, his nurse sealed the deal today! She made horribly incompassionate remarks about morning sickness, back pain and weight gain - all telling me how horrible my time of pregnancy will be and making me feel quite sorry for ever thinking we should be allowed to have children. Well, after they confirmed our due date (August 21st!) and took SEVEN vials of blood out of my arm, I went back to work and did some serious research on finding a new doctor at a new hospital. Fortunately, I also talked with our wonderful NFP nurse (and our first friend in Milwaukee!) and she suggested a great doctor at her hospital, which by the way, overlooks the lake - beautiful! We always felt comfortable there, and the doctor is one of the few pro-life docs in town, so we will feel more comfortable with a doctor who considers our baby a human than a glob of cells that can be eliminated if he or she isn't 100% perfect. We'll see what happens in the next few weeks or so... It would be comforting to actually have a good doctor!!!
